Research Interests
Troy Andersen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Center for Alzheimer’s Care, Imaging and Research in September 2006. Mr. Andersen is a native of Utah and received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Utah and Master’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. Mr. Andersen has an extensive history of working with individuals with chronic mental illness, crisis intervention, trauma and grief issues. He has interest in Gerontology and is enrolled in graduate studies in Gerontology at the University of Utah and is applying for the PhD. program in Social Work. He has research interest in care giving issues related to Alzheimer’s disease and other medical problems, issues related to chronic mental illness and homelessness.
