Research Interests
Codrina Rada von Arnim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Utah working on issues related to economic growth and development, and economic implications of aging. The methodology Codrina employs is structuralist macroeconomic modeling. The topics she has addressed in the past have ranged from the causes of structural change and economic growth to employment and development in late industrializing countries. Recently, she has turned her attention to the link between productivity growth and aging or, shortly, what of the former is necessary to finance an aging population without declining standards of living.
