7th Annual Research Retreat

Our 2013 Center on Aging Research Retreat Poster Session was held in the University Guest House Ballroom on Monday, April 8, 2013. With 44 posters presented, and record attendance, this was our largest retreat to date. We thank all who participated and attended to make this event a great success!

We congratulate our student/trainee winners: Lorayne B. Taylor for her poster "In Sickness or In Health: Couple's Health Status and Retirement" (Social Science Category) and Melissa Nuntapreda's poster "Incidence of Cognitive Decline Associated with Differential Patterns of FDG-PET Cerebral Hypometabolism" (Biological Science Category). We also extend special recognition to our "Youngest Participant", Ethan Hunter, a 4th grade student at Jordan Ridge Elementary, who gave an impressive presentation on "The Timeless Voice of Gordon B. Hinckley: A Study of Vocal Changes over 40 years of Speeches".
